MotorTrend have reported that the 2019 Jeep Wrangler still flips over during testing, despite receiving a supposed fix. They comment that "If it has to be said, vehicles don't usually roll over from front-impact collisions, and it's particularly alarming on a convertible vehicle like the Wrangler."

Safety on the roads in New Zealand is being targeted by the Road to Zero campaign, which is guiding improvements in New Zealand's road safety over 10 years until 31 December 2029. It is estimated that a 25% improvement in road fatalities could alone be achieved simply by improving the safety level of the NZ vehicle fleet.
