When vehicle seatbelts become damaged or worn, NZTA (New Zealand Transport Authority) legislation requires them to be replaced, or repaired either by the manufacturer or an authorised repair agent.  Often this means delays waiting for replacement parts being shipped from overseas.  In some cases it has resulted in unnecessary expense when the whole unit is replaced, even when it is only the webbing that has been damaged.

BeltTech NZ Ltd has established processes, and acquired the latest CNC sewing machine technology, to enable seatbelt repairs to be carried out using over 30 years experience in the industry. Belt Tech NZ is NZTA approved.

Our nationwide service provides re-webbed products made to standards equivalent OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or higher and meets NZTA standards and guidelines. All at an affordable price to get your vehicle compliant and back on the road as quickly as possible.

We are able to refurbish your seatbelt by replacing the webbing, and in some cases we may be able to extend the length of you existing seatbelt. We have a range of imported webbing and threads chosen for their wear quality and strength. Our research and ongoing testing ensures that our materials and stitch patterns meet or exceed the safety standards.
