Terms of Supply


By ordering any product from the Blackfern Rewards Store, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of our suppliers.

Please note that Blackfern is not the seller. The seller is displayed on each product page beneath the product details.

Please read the below terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them before you place an order, as they will apply to your order.

Description of products

Modifications are constantly being made to products, prices and data. Whilst supplier(s) try to ensure that product and pricing information is accurate, they do not provide any representations or warranties as to its accuracy, and shall not be responsible or liable for any inaccurate or out-of-date information.

Suppliers rely on information provided by product manufacturers and therefore the descriptions and images are not binding to the supplier.

If, after you receive your order, the goods do not match the description provided, please inform the supplier immediately so that they may take the appropriate action.

Contract of supply

After placing an order you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. The supplier(s) fulfilling your order will contact you to discuss delivery times.

The contract between yourself and the supplier(s) will only be formed when you are sent a dispatch confirmation.

Our supplier(s) may choose to reject any order that you place. This may be due to a lack of stock, because a supplier cannot meet your requested delivery date, because of an error in the price at the time you placed your order, or for any other reason. Should a supplier reject your order then the supplier will inform you of this rejection and the supplier will not process your order. The supplier will then refund you the full amount of points spent, including delivery costs charged.

Cancelling an order

You may cancel an order at any time prior to it the contract of supply being formed (the dispatch of your order). Supplier(s) will not accept any cancellation unless it is provided to the supplier in writing (by email). Supplier(s) will notify you in writing that the cancellation has been accepted.

Please note that where a supplier accepts cancellation of an order by you (at our sole discretion) that supplier may apply a handling charge of up to 15% of the otherwise applicable purchase price. If a charge is to be applied then the supplier will notify you prior to accepting your cancellation request and give you an opportunity to confirm your acceptance of the charge.

Delivery Location

Delivery is ONLY to the adress that you have registered with Blackfern. You cannot change the delivery address.

During the checkout process you are encouraged to provide instructions to aid delivery, such as times when you will be available to receive your goods, and advice for the delivery agent should you not be present at the time of delivery.

Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated based upon your location and will be shown in your basket and during the checkout process.

Please note that supplier(s) may not hold stock. Goods may be shipped directly from the manufacturer and each manufacturer represented in your basket will add a delivery fee to the total.

2 Panasonic products and 1 Breville product in your basket will result in one Panasonic delivery fee AND one Breville delivery fee.

Delivery fees, like all other values, are shown in Blackfern Reward Points.

Delivery Insurance

All orders delivered within New Zealand are insured against damage or loss during transit up to the value of NZ$1,500. Whilst every care will be taken, supplier(s) will not accept any liability for loss or damage in transit that exceeds the value of the loss or damage insurance applying to that delivery.

Delivery Times

After placing your order you will be contacted by the supplier who will confirm stock and delivery schedule. Goods are shipped directly from the manufacturer and depends upon stock availability at the time of your order and also their delivery schedule for your location.

If you are not happy with the expected delivery time, you can cancel your order and have your points returned to you without any charge.


Within 7 days of receipt of your order you must ensure that all goods received are in good order and condition. No damage claims will be considered after 7 days of receipt of goods. While no liability for goods damaged or lost in transit will be accepted by supplier(s), details of any claim should be advised to the supplier.

Goods supplied in accordance with your order can only be returned with the express approval of the supplier.

Supplier(s) will not accept any claim unless it is provided to the supplier in writing (by email).

Suppliers (and manufacturers) reserve the right to thoroughly test all equipment prior to any warranty claim being accepted. Additionally, suppliers reserve the right to reject a warranty claim should the claim be rejected by the manufacturer.

In accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the products that form your order are covered by the individual manufacturer warranties.
